Our focus will be on winter pruning, but rest assured that you can take the knowledge and prune well into September (an honorary winter month). We’ll also be looking ahead and touching on summer pruning.

Pruning and training are indispensable skills for productive, beautiful and healthy fruit trees. In this session, we’ll follow a framework that allows a tree’s natural architecture to be expressed, leading to happy trees and less intervention over time.
Join us as we work with the apples, pears and stone fruit at Silverstream School. Participation is optional, tools will be available to share, BYO sharp tools if you have them.
